Valor strengthens its team with two new hires

Valor is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Phillips and Henry Kinnersley who have joined the firm as Vice President and Analyst.

The hires underline Valor’s continued growth trajectory following its launch in July and the completion of its first deal in October. Valor is now looking to capitalise on the opportunities within the highly active and expanding European logistics and industrials sector.

Matthew previously worked at Lazard Real Estate on the M&A team advising on acquisitions, divestitures and strategic reviews for blue-chip institutions across a range of asset classes. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, having spent four years at PWC prior to joining Lazard. Matthew will predominantly focus on deal financing but will also play a part in sourcing and executing value add investments.

Henry joined from Brookfield Asset Management, where he was an Analyst within the Private Equity Division focussing on mid to large cap European company buyouts. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a B.A. in Land Economy and recently completed CFA level 1. Henry will focus on deal origination and analysis.

Christian Jamison, Managing Partner said:

“We are delighted to have Matthew and Henry on board. Both bring a broad range of knowledge and impressive experience from their respective firms and they are exciting additions to the growing Valor team.”
