Matthew Phillips is a Partner at Valor Real Estate Partners and is responsible for Finance and Operations.

Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Phillips was a Senior Associate within the Lazard Real Estate M&A team advising on acquisitions, divestitures and strategic reviews for blue-chip institutions across a range of asset classes. During his time at Lazard, Mr. Phillips advised on over £500m of transactions.

Prior to Lazard, Mr. Phillips trained as a Chartered Accountant at PwC working within assurance and commercial due diligence.

Mr. Phillips graduated from the University of Durham with a combined honours degree in Classics, French & Economics. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2013.
